Its a Time

It’s a time of joy
It’s a time of laughter
It’s a time to give
And a time to forgive
It’s a time to embrace
And a time to let go
It’s a time to be friends 
And a time to shake hands
It’s a time when we sing peace for all
And a time when we all come together as one
It’s a time when we all reflect back
With an opportunity to change
It’s a time when we open our hearts
for all acts of kindness and compassion 
weather stranger or friend
It’s a time to bow our heads
And to say our prayers
It’s a time when we light candles
And dance in the snow
It’s a time when we look at life
And see it through the eyes of a child
