It's a Fix O'Clock Day
There is just NOT enough time
Barely have the time to rhyme
Alarm sounds off and starts the race
Can’t keep this frenetic pace
I see that it’s already nine
Morning’s gone and I’m behind
Maybe I can think of how
I can stop this, here and now
If I’m not done by six o’clock
I think that I’ll just fix o’clock
I’ll set back the hour hand
Then not so much time has spanned
I could make six turn to four
Even three, should I need more
There’s no end to fixing time
Then I’d have the time to rhyme
One thing though that may not work
Thinking now and with a smirk
Dinner that is served at seven
Means I’m eating at eleven
Guess I’d better think this through
Guess that’s what I’ll have to do
Guess you just can’t fix o’clock
Maybe smash it with a rock?
