it’d be enough
there’s this story i’ve been told
lovers lost sleep to stare at ghosts
they’re just kids
that’s all it is
replaced my eyes with yours to see
you burn so fast it scares me
i need you now
come back around
going up to drown out that sound
i’ll never have to feel it if i never come down
i lost that love
i’ll suck it up
so much has happened since then
it’s hard to not want it back again
don’t walk away,
it’s you and me.
