Italian Sonnet Free Style: The Diva
A day of miracles descended and
she doth speaketh and clearly, she seeing
not heard yet, her awkward lips shift, being
the woman we all know too well, Suzanne.
By the way, tis spelt clearly with two n's
and not one, woman, and now that Gawds gift
has unwrapped herself, when is my facelift,
dear boy, gentlemen, my benefit, friends!
Cancel the lift, no time for majors. Let's
not keep the boys waiting, speaking of, you
did make dinner reservations, no sweats
my sweet Suzanne, and I'll arrange to cue
the driver with the right directions, Gets
started, ta' ta' my darlings! --Oy vey! Phew!
