It Will Continue
We all know that
It will happen again
In a country that leads
The world in gun violence.
I have heard this,
'It is a terrible thing and
We are going to do
Something about it',
Song and dance in so many other ways.
Other ways have been about
Fixing social security, welfare,
medicare, medicaid, poverty,
The tax code, etc.
Only President Obama has made
A good faith and honest effort
To try and fix the health system.
I don't know why some hunters
Need a gun that fires 100 rounds
Unless they want to wipe out
A whole species in one sitting.
I am no hunting fan but
A shotgun is good enough.
The animal still falls down,
Dies and has no chance to
Defend itself or fight back.
