It Was One of Those Mornings
Alarm clock blaring
I smell it from bed
Dog’s rear exploded
Got into the trash
Dang mutt needs diapers
Dog nailed the cat
Both need a bath
Can’t use the hose
Seven below
Scrub them down
They sure fight
Brown tub ring
It’s up
My nose
Poop.
Lazy weekend morn
Kids bounce on our bed
Pouncing from above
Bundles of giggles
Tickle spots abound
Pancake souffle
Steam from oven
Bacon, syrup
One too many
Gather up
Hop on bikes
Burn it off!
Don’t need
Much lunch
Nap.
