It Was One of Those Mornings

Late for work again, I am
                                 Caught in a traffic jam
                                        I know I’ll get yelled at again 
                                              The boss is really not my friend.


                                                I do not have to work today
                                          Because it is a holiday
                                    No rush, no fuss, I’ll sleep in late
                              And snuggle-up beside my mate.
