It Was a Good Morning Until

It was a good morning until I went to the bathroom and fell, slipped and skidded across the floor in my hubby's hair gel. In pain, I tried descending the stairs to scramble some eggs, but I tripped on my dog's chew toy, and broke both my legs. I got home from the hospital, sporting two knee high casts. Suddenly, my house trembled from thunderously loud blasts. I turned on the TV news to discover what the cause could be, and saw the warning; a supercell twister headed right for me! I couldn't hobble to the cellar. In my eyes, tears began to well. I screamed as my roof blew off. This day is a nightmarish hell! Everything I owned had been destroyed, and when help arrived, Someone softly said, "No one inside could've possibly survived." February 15, 2021 It Was a Good Morning Until... lol Line. You sound like Jan, who commented that I left readers hanging, wondering if I was still alive or seeing it as a ghost. Thanks for your kind thoughts.

Now that's what I call a bad day, all caused by the huuby's hair gel on the floor...good reason not to get married, right? I enjoyed your humor, Jenna, good luck in the contest. Hugs.

Guess I can't blame him for the tornado, but without slipping on his hair gel, she'd at least have been able to get to the cellar. You and I don't know about those underground places of retreat. lol

Mamma mia! It could not get worse. Hope some idiot began to remove the debris. Best for a win. ~~

A Murphy's Law day. Thanks for leaving your thoughts, Victor.

Lol, could it get any worse. Don't we all have those days when everything that can go wrong does. Your first stanza reminded me when I was at work one of our delivery girls had gone down some steps and even she didnt know how she'd done it but broke both her ankles. Good luck in the contest. Tom

Let's assume she survived, otherwise she was a ghost, and I don't believe in them, just demons who act like them. Thanks. Jan.
