It Takes Two

Remember what I’ve said the other day
That there is something I need to say to you
Well, I have kept this question for a long time
And I think you have the answer to it
I cannot sing a love song to daze you
I cannot give a bed of roses to bliss your life
I cannot cross the ocean to amaze you
But all I can give is my open heart
All my life I’ve been searching for love
A truthful love to bright my life
But it takes two to make it real
And I believe I need you to make it true
I can’t bring home the stars for you
As I’m afraid the world will turn dark
And if it happened, I won’t be able to see your eyes
Your sparkling eyes just like the stars above
Need no jewelries to shine our love
All we need is a good recipe to make it right
A little of sadness and cry to make us strong
A little of happiness and romance to keep us close
It takes two to build this intimacy
You and me and our hearts inside
Although sadness sometimes come
I swear it would only make us stronger
From now on, I give you my open heart
And I need yours to bright my life too
Don’t hesitate, just trust your heart
Coz it takes two to build one love
