It Takes a Loss

Sadly, it takes a loss
to know what one had
and misses; as anything
not worked for, or rightly
fought for, is not worth
having, regardless of its
monetary value – for one's
soul, though it can be sold
can never be bought back,
only redeemed...by one who
believes it is priceless, far
greater than the wealth of
a world.

Hello Joe ... how true indeed. The soul does not point towards greed as money does - thanks again Joe - Lindsay

Hi Lindsay; great comment! Ain't that the truth -- the soul knowing it deathless, transcending.

Wow Joe, how right you are! A poignant write with a universal message: We don't know what we have until we lose it. Blessings, Paulette
