It My Birthday Today
It my birthday today
I give thanks to God
For walking my ways with Me
It has never been easier
If I was ignorant of nature
Am happy am in peace
With life
So I gave thanks to God
To see another year of my life
Is another great privilege
It my birthday today
And am still taking down
The notes of life
I sure have seen enough
Yet I have not seen it all
What do you expect from
A man of 39 years
For sure am no longer a boy
Rather I chose to be the man I am
For sure am sensitive
No wonder I keep writing
Till my birthday
Till am 39 today
I promise to always
Sing the palms of
My soul
I promise you all to will keep
Reading my bleeding pen
Not even the age matters
In this case
Yet happy birthday to me
It my birthday today
So I dedicate my day
To all the innocent victims
Globally
I dedicate my birthday to
All the victims brutalised
For the sake of freedom
I dedicate this day to all
The children of the world
The race don't matter now
I dedicate my day to all
Those struggling to survive
Under the brutalities of bad politicians
Yes I dedicate my day to you
I dedicate this day to all
The single struggling mother's
World wide
To the abused girls in Africa
And globally
Yes I dedicate this birthday
To the world
I love you all
Happy birthday to me yes
It my birthday today
