It Just Is
It Just Is:
Of sea and Sky and Paradise
From the corner of my eye
I see through your disguise
The mascaraed parading around
A caricature comes to life
The animated, boastful prince
After the crown , twelfth in line
Fueled by jealousy
Cursed lips, charmed deceit
I’ve worked too god damn hard
What a tragedy
The seeds of my labor
Lost to casualty
Poor judgment and fragility
Tragedy be not proud
I’ve worked too god damn hard
I’ll surely overcome
I’ve got much to give
And for much to live
Hey you
Your eyes take on the world
Fight on
Strive on
A waste of space
A shadow of disgrace
You’ve got exactly what you deserve
Too afraid to scream
And bring attention to your state
You’re something different
That is your conviction
Oh sweet child
Speak now
Reap now
The seeds of your fortune
They’re sprouting in the open
And are due for harvesting
You lost all of your friends
Every one of them you imagined
A mind game of sorts
Far more than pretend
And beyond the imagination
There’s a freedom above you
Deeper than your despair
Surrender and glory shall enter
