It isn't easy loving a poet

It isn't easy loving a poet, who embezzles your dark scars~ to make their words shine. For once you flourished together in the summer, now you're a wrinkled weed in winter’s wrath, where rhymes are lost in the light of the distant sun.

This really tugged at my heartstrings and your way of conveying emotions through metaphorical words is absolutely phenomenal, dear poetess! I just love everything about this piece..so profound and poignant, how loving a poet's heart can be such a rollercoaster."now you're a wrinkled weed in winter’s wrath" I especially adore the poetic richness that you've poured in this line with delicate alliteration and exquisite flow.. That ending line is just impeccable "lost in the light of the distant sun
