It Is What It Ain'T

Written By: D. Collins 6/12/20
Black men have had to withstand the test of time.
If something turned up missing, we're charged with the crime.
Every corner of this country was built upon our backs.
But, it is what it ain't when it comes down to blacks.
We've endured jacked up enforcement of jacked up laws.
George Floyd caused the world to take the blinders off.
It is what it ain't when it pertains to the brothers.
They'd rather apply pressure to the black man's jugular.
Through every evolution we were like Bebe Kids.
We held a burning desire to continue to live.
Faced with torture, bigotry, murder, and fear.
But, the last man standing will be standing right here.
