It Is There

May we always have blessed reminders of our loved ones, wherever they may be.

It is there...

It is there in the rain
I feel the cool and calm
Coming down from Heaven
Reminding me you're home

It is there in the rainbow
Filling up the sky
It is there in the sparrow
As he passes by

It is there in the ocean
As the waves caress the shores
Each like a sweetheart's kiss
Always wanting more

It is there in the flowers
As each one blooms for me
Every single petal
Is like a sweet melody

It is there in the cloudscape
Such shapes of fun and joy
I'm reminded of your mischief
And wish we could just talk

It is there in the treetops
The breeze caresses every branch
Wrapped up in such elation
The leaves begin to dance

It is there in the soil
As the roots grow deep and strong
It is there in the heart
Where our love always belongs

It is there in each moment
It is there in each day
It is there always
And always it shall remain

Just as the beauty of nature is all around us so too is love. We should caress every moment, it is a gift. Your poem is a wonderful way to start my day, Michelle. Wishing you a Merry Christmas. John

Such a beautifully penned poem, and I adore the word cloudscape, thinking I have never seen or heard it before so I do thank you for this one.

You're very welcome, Caren. And thank you for your lovely message. I do love my cloudscapes. I'm a photographer as well, and I take a lot of photos of nature, including the ocean, cloudscapes, and flowers. And I agree with you, "cloudscape" is a fabulous word. Take care and enjoy your weekend. :-)

Thank you, Stephan. I agree. I wanted to write the poem to reflect both, as it does for me. I know that God is in everything. Stay blessed and enjoy your Christmas. May we all take pause and remember the true meaning. God bless you and your loved ones. :-)
