It Is Finished
“It is finished” our Saviour declared,
As He died for you and me.
The plan of salvation was purchased there,
On that old cross at Calvary.
The soldiers nailed Him to that cross,
And He hung there between Heaven and Earth.
They mocked Him, they spat on Him,
While He was dying to give them a new birth.
He said, “Father forgive them, they know not what they do.”
