It is a girl

My hair should be shorter,
my voice should be deeper,
my chest should be flatter.
I should not be a girl, or a boy,
or anything at all.

I’m in love with always becoming
someone new, truer.
We all came from voids,
black holes,
the gateway into the loss of the
galaxy.
In pursuit of civilization and humanity,
we have forgotten the devils bargain.
Once you have become something,
you can’t take your old self back.

And even if you’re
signing your life away,
I am not
your little “girl,”
for I am nothing at all.

And if God hates me,
I think that’s okay.
