It Has To Be

It Has To Be

Right down the line,
With the spark of some hope
Someone is, reminded.

Don't forget about tomorrow,
I heard a man say
I remembered when the tomorrow's
Wasn't a word in my vocabulary
Only for that day!

We come back to,
Tomorrow's Promise
Must-be, God-given
Must-be, Has-to-be!

Changes come, always!
With it comes a new Hope
And the new ways
God-given, Has-to-be!

The word fits the style, flow, and imagery of the poetry. Well, dagnabit, I feel an edit coming up soon. Haha, sorry. I have to amuse myself! I do appreciate you, Joe. Have a Great Day, and Best Wishes, William

Hey, Joe! As I couldn't agree more with both of you gentlemen. And Thank you for your comment, but talk about some irony, the word 'Steadfast,' I was going to try using that word, but got interrupted. I came back to finish the writing and forgot about it until I saw the word right now. Thank you for your visit too. Best Wishes, William

Tomorrow is something beyond our control. We can only live in present. Nice poem.

Jay, the present is all I have. The past has been lived, and the future, well, it's yet to be lived in. I'm grateful that He blows life into my lungs every day. I appreciate your candor and thoughts, and your visit. Best Wishes, William
