It Happened One Rainy Night

Foggy mists engulfed the bright 
When raindrops fell throughout the night 
The lampposts glowed at midnights dark 
When sweethearts kissed at Lover's Park

Foolish me, it was that damn American soul
Blessed are the liars, you and I are rock n roll
I’m the cause, yes, yes, that kept our lips glued 
You’re the effect, for now let them all brood

Very unusual for August in CA...Labor Day weekend,we were out. I stepped out of the car, the radio was on, It was rocking good music.
