it ends with a question

she soared closer to you
just for a pinch more
but I felt the dying moon
and I feel you
I feel you hovering over me
over my galaxy
facing this mountain
I am
the last blackbird
and you turned away
in awe that your final thoughts towards me were beautiful
she called me beautiful
is this all for the sake of the butterflies that I may feel tonight?
she freed the sun
and I soared closer to you

I enjoy your style of writing, Chante. It is very spacious, yet clear & concise. I enjoyed the phrases - the last blackbird & for the sake of butterflies. B blessed, Ghairo
