It

to what do i owe this pleasure
the meeting of you on plains
of different measure
does the heart reach out
to meet discernment
of casual relation does the heart
concern it
does position condone it
do inner feelings enthrone it
are imaginations consumed by it
does anticipation wait
is not what seem so small
yet so large that they speak
why in my mind are the facts so weak
when every signal to me says, seek
an opportunity to speak so sweet
to offer her a larger piece
filled with time, affection and care
dare to explore her narrow streets
become the aggressor as it should be
don't cheat yourself of fantasies
that help along the way
and when that magic moment arrives
don't in the least act surprised
just go with the flow
and act as if you've always known

Well JohnIII, It looks like you've got it. (Smiling here) I enjoyed this poem. Sometimes timidity keeps one from reaching out. And then, there's the social lines issue...which I totally ignore...I don't play games. Thanks for commenting on my poem "Silent Reading" I wrote it for some middle school children that had silent reading today. I substitute teach. Keep writing and reading... Thanks again, Dane.

This is a wonderful write. It flows smoothly when read and takes you with it. It is like going on a little adventure with many possibilities and variations on what one may find in the end. Much depth lie within these beautifully penned words! Love, Robin
