Isolation With Life

Life is filled with lots of good and bad, it makes me feel happy and sad. A funny thing about time, it can ring in your head like a chime. Some friends will leave or bend, some will be there until the end. What do you really need, are you filled with greed. When will this pain go away, I need to go sit by the bay. Having no family nearby, I have turned to friends for companionship during this horrid pandemic. But as you suggest at the end, we need only "look above" to find love. Really like the spiritual quality of your poem, Paula. Wishing you success in the contest! Hugs, Carolyn
