Island

ISLAND Looking back at the casualty figures and wondering why did they do it? So many men killed for a battle. Now the planes are no more and the sea is calm, with only memories remaining of the time since passed. Both American and Japanese drop their animosity to become friends, no longer seeing each other through a gun sight. One now wonders, how could civilised people act so savagely? Now Midway Island is home to gulls and turns back to nature, reconciliation now ending the war.
