Is Yesterday Soon Enough

Would yesterday be much too soon For astronaut to leave the moon? Coyote howls though evening's chill Starlight's too dim for daffodil To spread much cheer along the creek Whose pulse the dawn has yet to seek. Don't ask his wife who feel's moon's crest Its crescents stab reflecting breast As she waits for the sun to rise, Her husband's WILL flames 'cross the skies, As atmospheric blindfolds sear, Their ash a sign that he draws near. Let future poets leave the earth, Though hallowed cradle of our birth, Explore the dreams God lets us see, In voiceless space plant empathy, Like astronauts explore God's soul, By Love's intentions be made whole.
