Is This Real

The wind whispers in the woman's ear. She stands and looks but nobody is here. As the wind strengthens the house shakes. She screams for her life, running for the basement. The door is locked. She cried the softest saddest little cry, prays to God not to take her life. The door opens and what does she see. An angel that said...

Come with me
To live another day
I'll protect you
That's all I can say

The woman followed
With nothing but joy
There they go
Trying to stay alive

She looks around
To see if this is real
And wake's up
To notice that
The tornado was the real deal

You haven't tried it before because you are on the ground floor of a poetic revolution. Mate thanks for trying out my fledgling poetic form, and entering the first ever Haibun FreeStyle contest. What a horrific situation, but a nice way to save your heroine. The only tip that I would have is to keep playing with the form and enjoy. Thanks again.

I've never done this before, got inspired to try. Any comments are welcome, it's alright to be blunt.
