Is There Really a Cat In There

We teachers have the summer off.
So far I have been everywhere, done everything.
I’ve only been out a few seconds, and I have packed in the fun!
I gave up cleaning the whole house.
Even if we were having Mrs. Snoopy – my twin sister.
The kitchen counters gave me a marvelous idea.
Why not box it all up, and clean the counters?
I could dig this stuff out after they are gone.
After I piled seventeen boxes in the bedroom I had a new thought.
What if she looks in there? And of course she will.
In about three seconds I had this sign on the door “Please do not let cat out.”
My sister asked me several times “Is there really a cat in there?”
We are both allergic to cats, but she knows that I have one anyway.
I said “Go ahead and look,” but she never did.

So clever. I could put that sign on my bedroom door because I don't make my bed. It gets changed every two weeks when Michelle comes to clean. Otherwise, why make it up when I'll just mess it up? I'm not much for those routine tasks. I don't like housecleaning, that's why I have Michelle. It's worth the money!!!

It sure is. Did you know that bed mites cannot live in an unmade bed? if you make your bed every day, they can burrow in and live in your bed with you for a long time. I never make my bed!
