Is There Peace
Peace isn’t found in the soundless
Moments when hearts discover the
Music that whispers to the spirit
Peace isn’t found in the whimsical
Breathless silence uncovering the images
Night, moonlight, stars glistening across
The darkest sapphire night, haunting
Even the stillness with the stirring, the
Longing of the spirit, listening
To the hues of wonder, the music
Like faded echoes of truth, edging through
The mysterious splendors, the inklings
Peace isn’t found in the pleasures pursued
By those who know only the joy, the light
Dividing the day and the night, the oceans
Lonely and inviting, hesitating on shores where
Beauty roars to life, inspiring the soul to hear
What it means to know love, to know fear
To sigh in the reassurance of a peace far truer,
Far brighter, far nearer, far more alive
Than any serenity, any tranquility or quiet
Peace isn’t found in the contentment of the
One who knows only to hear the peace
Abiding inside the soul who is satisfied by hope,
Gratified by the knowing, the thought…
That peace is coming back once again
Peace is only found in the One who created us
Peace is only found in the One who is from above
Lighting up the entire world with His love!
