Is It Love
Wiping away my tears
a smile gleams on your cheeks
and your touch unmeasured speaks
beating loud within my breast.
From a distance, I stepped away
unsure of what this is coming my way;
your stature, strong and self-assured
draws me in this amorous allure.
Never before have I felt this way
and my mind fails my heart in what to say;
all the questions and misgivings rise in doubt
draw me in enraptured by your tout.
Come closer, wrap your arms around me
hold me snug, safe secure upon your shoulders
whisper soft and gentle as you keep me near
dispel the fears as we dance here.
In this wondrous waltz that melodies romance
tell me the truths of life and all its circumstance
is this real, is it the reality of me and you
is it love or just a dream, tell me true?
