Is Anyone Out There

Is anyone out there, or must I just pretend?
Is it too much to ask for me to control fate?
I sit up and wonder, when will this journey end?
Searching for my bestfriend, pursuing my soulmate,
I hope your heart is something I'm able to locate,
Until that day, I'll just sit up with patience,
Anticipating your love, reminded of this cadence
