Outside my door, bats They fly all around my house Scaring away anyone That comes near my place Implanting fear in people The bats are surely a bane Russell Sivey

Bats are herbivorous since they eat mostly fruit. Bram Stoker gave them an undeserved bad reputation. Good sedoka for the Halloween season Russell.

bats often fly over our garden, but I'm glad they're not in the house, lol. Love your sense of humour, Russell

when I was younger I would walk up and down the neighbor streets with my brothers and we would throw rocks into the woods right after dark.. It would make the bats come out.. Loved your poem!!.. Thanks for stopping by..have a fabulous day :) cory
