Irish eyes

An Irish women
Eyes of green
Alone she stood on a land unseen

The cliffs they begged
A Song to sing
To bring our fellow folk akin

The skies they opened up
A sun triumphant
Golden like a morning buttercup

An Irish woman
Eyes of green
Together they stood on a land seen
