Iridescent Icicles

It’s cold It snowed I shivered I shoveled A Solstice sun Silently smirked Iridescent icicles Licked their lips A crunch of crusted snow Battled the scritch of shovels Headless snowmen Wandered in wonder I shoveled I shivered It snowed It’s cold

It never ends John. We have gotten four feet of snow in the last three weeks. 10 below zero F. today. Getting up to 28 tomorrow. This reminded me of what is coming in the next few months. I now know why people flock to Florida but then you deal with the Hurricanes. You can't win John...

Shiver me timbers and shovel the snow. If X-mas is this cold, the drinks won't even flow!

This curt, wonderful style mirrors the tingling crust of snow and the bland mood of winter...very nice, john

Pleasant reading. I smiled at this, but I can't relate. I live in the tropics.

This one comes full circle... cleverly shoveled. Wrap yourself up and stay warm, John. Boston winters would make me shiver, too!
