Invocation
I know I am prideful.
Because I thought I wouldn’t have to be faithful.
I fell asleep thinking my wishes were benign.
I thought that maybe my grasp was divine.
An invocation using my sanity as sacrifice.
Leaves me with nothing but dread as they steal my vice.
