'invisible'

the markings are all gone washed away invisible and yet they are still so evident etched into my mind every piece perfectly fitted until that day the water came down chaos confusion panic the water swept away everything familiar blank faces staring back at me am I invisible too they walked right through me my thoughts suspended my footsteps halted my breathing - am I even alive?

Hi Wilma. Wow, such writing. Well penned, my friend. I had to reread it, and I think it will be in my favorites now. I really need to come on more often and start reading everyone's poetry. Such a pleasure reading this, thank you. Have a beautiful day. Best of Wishes, William
