Inversion

Now that the world
Is upside down
Inside out
Back to front
Turned around
And standing on its head,

Now that the truth
Is vilified
Spat upon
And trampled underfoot,

What of those
Who dare to speak out
Against all the lies
The corruption
The propaganda
The disinformation
The censorship
The deplatforming
And the whole rotten globalist
One world agenda,

What of those who dare
To raise their heads above the parapet
Will they not soon be silenced
Or imprisoned
Or maybe even put to death.

Fantastic poem W.A Probably I suppose the question is it a cost or cause you deem worthy of paying the ultimate price for. And will your self sacrifice be in vain or will they just carry on regardless

Some would prefer death to being in a world where they are unable to live and breathe freely. Things are getting more and more unconstitutional. You bring up some good points here.

Rhetorical question, I'm afraid. War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery... Screens to monitor our every move...We have arrived at the horror of Orwell's 1984... Worse late than never! :) gw

I enjoyed this poem very much, you really nailed it. Great title and truths written with a smooth rhythm. God help us! Take care of yourself in these troubled times. God Bless.
