Introduction

Good morning daylight Dripping through roof holes downward Where the bitter cold had been Day is a good sheet For old moons of fresh sadness The stars are too blinded to see I call her name still Before the pavements awake And stir the noise with their feet Love suffers alone For being alone is pain From creation's first silence You must look to know The the false features of a man Sorrow does not show like joy A woman answers Many questions never asked The eyes tell tongue muted things
