Into the Sunset
I dream I am standing on the deck of a vessel
Nearing the western horizon, into the sunset
Into vivid glowing reds and oranges, I nestle,
I dream I am standing on the deck of a vessel
The ocean beneath like an overarching trestle,
Floating over life’s experiences I’ll ne’er forget
I dream I am standing on the deck of a vessel
Nearing the western horizon, into the sunset.
Floating over life’s experiences I’ll ne’er forget
Nearing the western horizon, into the sunset,
I dream I am standing on the deck of a vessel
The ocean beneath like an overarching trestle
Into vivid glowing reds and oranges, I nestle,
Knowing soon I’ll ne'er again say a sad farewell.
