Into the Light

So,
is there
nothingness
when life is done?
black void- like the universe beyond stars?

Darkness above and beyond darkest dark?
vast worthlessness,
end of ends;
no more
us?

No,
deeper
we must thrust
past blackest black
into God's light- and everlasting life.
