Into the Cloud of Unknowing

From darkness, deep, deep and black--
we are born into mist and fog,
into the Cloud of Unknowing
where we can see only shapes and shadows
as we struggle... lost, fearful, half-blind,
wanting clarity...seeking God, but stumbling,
always prone to tripping in the dark.

Thanks Rob-- and you're right, most of us aren't even aware, especially it seems in our secular, godless ,soulless, age that tries to narrowly define our sentient life.

Thanks Maureen-- I too like the 'quickies', but they don't happen as easily most of the time as this one did.
