Her birth mother was never there - Sal’s always lived in foster care, She cries out for attention, So feels no apprehension, By posting selfies when she’s bare Young Sally is very naive - Her internet ‘mates’ she’ll believe, She sends them nude pics. Foul trolls get their kicks, Her web footprint will never leave 3/11/20

Your limericks are VERY well-written. I feel deeply sorry for "Sally"; there are so many like her out there--and so many pervs lying in wait to take advantage. Janice

sadly there are harrowing stories in the press about the abuse these vulnerable youngsters are subjected to - youngsters crying out for attention and they are taken in by trolls behind a keyboard who make out they are someone they are not:-( hugs jan xx

Sadly children have no idea how dangerous some behaviors are; some I know have shared their passwords with "good friends" and have been truly betrayed. The trolls are out there, waiting. Make no bones about it. Nicely penned.

I'm amazed how many children have phones and the internet and no apparent parental guidance - its no wonder these things happen and yes these things can come back to haunt someone in later life as that footprint can never be erased:-( hugs Jan xx

Could you please emphasise NEVER as in NEVER, EVER, EVER? It isn't funny, but certainly needs to be said! Aloha! Rico

A powerful reminder that predators lurk online waiting for an opportunity to prey on the weak and vulnerable. People need to be ever vigilant against their evil devices. Well written.

- A terribly sad reality, Jan - Children and young people use mobile phones and apps that facilitate taking and sharing photos and videos - Unfortunately, many people take and spread sexualized photos and videos of themselves and others - They don't understand the impact of what they do - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

It is so sad...the vulnerable. They think it’s cool to bare themselves. The evil want to bring them into their lions den with no escape. I pray for them. :(

There has been horror stories of gangs grooming vulnerable girls. They give them attention, then meet up plying them with drink and drugs. They want burning at the stake. Tom

I've read about that happening recently in the Uk Tom thankfully many of the gang members are behind bars - but the damage they caused those girls is a lifelong sentence:-( they preyed on the vulnerable kids and committed such atrocities for their own pleasure its sick:-( hugs Jan xx

thanks Ralph I usually do funny limericks but this is far from a humourous subject, i read many stories in the women's magazines of vulnerable youngsters especially from broken homes craving attention and not realising the danger they are exposing themselves to:-( hugs Jan xx
