Internal Sky

As the clouds appeared,
they seemed to turn colors.
Beautiful colors that were violet,
pink, blue, and some with a yellow
sensation that filled the air with
a sweet, sweet smell of summer,
Along with the colored clouds,
There was a breeze that the sun blew,
it seemed that the sun was concentrating
on cooling me off.
The trees did not stir one leaf.
The sun was concentrating on me!
It made me proud, proud to know
someone recognized the pain in me.
The clouds moved on slowly, leaving
a trail of colors in the sky.
My attention rose to the sun, it
had moved as though it had been
shot across the sky by a gun, then
slowly, slowly to its death it dropped.
The stars appeared like diamonds,
the moon a sapphire – they are the
love of the night. I soon went
into the deep sleep of eternity.
