Image result for pictures of a poet using ai to write poetry

Something very interesting happened I looked at some poems that won in a contest The winners were all top ten winners There were very few winners in the contest Just out of curiosity I copied and pasted Each one, one by one into an AI checker Guess what that AI checker found All of them were written by AI The top AI was 88 % and the least was 80% AI written. I wonder if the AI checker was correct or Was the AI checker wrong????? So just out of curiosity I put in part of Robert Frost's poem Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening It said it was 80% AI written... LOL, LOL, LOL, ROTFL, Ha! Ha!!!

It is so frustrating. Once I was accused of having resorted to AI. I felt so puzzled and I checked one of my earliest poems written in 2007- (that was the year I started writing poems) when I had not heard of AI and I found it be 56% AI generated. I felt so very upset. Thank you Sara for sharing your experience.

Thank you, Valsa, for sharing this experience with us. Yes, those checkers use techniques to check writings that are used in writing poetry and because of the way they are written then they say they are AI. You can't trust them. Sara K

So much for the reliability of this cursed, totally unnecessary and unwanted technology. And Generation ZZ and ZZZ will accept 'AI' and its inevitable successors as infallible, no doubt. Glad I won't be around then.

Gershon, some of those AI writes are very good and deserve to be read, but alas, it is written by a machine so to speak. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts on the technology. Sara K

When the robots start complaining that we're getting more robotic than them, then we're in trouble.

They are historically untrustworthy. A poet said he put my poem The Eternal Question... In a checker and it came up AI. Buwahahaha. Anyway, I don't worry about who's doing what

LOL does AI mimic us or do we mimic AI? I read an article that human vocabulary is beginning sound like AI. It is a reflection on how much human are relying on AI to compose everything from resumes to reports to essays. Good poem.

How low can we humans go? -- A lot lower is the answer. And we will, too.

Well, Chetta, I have no idea. I read somewhere that an AI checker or detector can't check poetry for AI because of the way poetry is written, it will always say it is written by AI even though humans have written it. LOL..Thanks for stopping by and the nice comments. Sara
