Intention's Deafening Din
though your actions speak loudly,
I can't hear a thing
beneath the deafening din of your intentions.
If it's true of beauty, that it comes from within
then, it's that which you wager from holding it in.
confounded, I struggle to grasp how this happened
to the heart that once made you feel love ever-lasting
the same one that made you ashamed for your actions,
then stifled regret
and placed blame in it's absence
