Intention's Deafening Din

though your actions speak loudly, I can't hear a thing beneath the deafening din of your intentions. If it's true of beauty, that it comes from within then, it's that which you wager from holding it in. confounded, I struggle to grasp how this happened to the heart that once made you feel love ever-lasting the same one that made you ashamed for your actions, then stifled regret and placed blame in it's absence

that is very kind of you! this poem came to me quite organically, where normally I spend hours or days working out the right ccombinations, this practically wrote itself! art is ALWAYS best when it comes that way- not contrived

this is one that caught my eye from the first reading; a deep, thoughtful piece, succinct but well written, says a lot in a few lines; I like the alliteration in the title, too - congrats on your win in my contest
