Notes About The Poem

Intent Is Pure

Intent is pure but our ego unsure Suffering fears spiral, which we endure Endless it seems, is lower mind chatter To non-doer, how do outcomes matter Silence and stillness is the only cure Our childlike prayer, to God has allure Pristine presence is humble and demure Love flower petals, into space scatters Intent is pure Hermit detached, though desires try to lure Safe passage through life, God alone ensures Having renounced ego spawned thought clatter We reclaim our soul which was in tatters Transcending mind-body caricature Intent is pure 29-June-2021
