Intellectual Inferiority

Intellectual Inferiority Things were once so simple Back when I was young Could of sworn I knew it all But it slipped right off my tongue The day I left the cradle When I learned to crawl This whole world was mine to hold But I dropped the ball Quickly I pursued it As it rolled across the floor Then I stepped into this room And someone locked the door Often I look back on life And see where I went wrong Existence is much easier when You know where you belong Chasing distant memories Things that I believe Watch them as the fall apart It's so easy to deceive Things are never simple It’s only in your head The only thing you know for sure Is one day you'll be dead By: Jeremy Siedlecki
