a spermatozoa competition
for there is an ovum to won
so they race
to fertilize
and fight until they're left only one

Those strong swimmers make it to the top ensuring strong healthy babies so it seems but then things do come with those healthy sperm sometimes sad to say..Sara

It does seem like a strange process. How is it that this brings us too life? There are references to it in "Legally Blonde" and in Woody Allen's film "Sleeper" if I have the right film. Biology brings in some strange bedfellows.
