Instant Frankenstein

In young Victor Frankensteins' dreams,
he'd create a man by scientific means.
Since those days, we've come so far
in the wake of Frank Junior's shining star.
Senior's ambitious plan to make a mate
didn't really turn out so great.
The bride looked the monster down and up,
hissed, then gagged, and then threw up.
Junior would, this method, greatly refine,
turning out monsters by assembly line.

She didn’t long for the ugly monster.

I just recently watched the 1935 Bride of Frankenstein for the first time, and it was a pretty good movie, starring Elsa Lanchester. I would say her response was a little less than positive, definitely not what the good doctor was hoping for.
