Inspirational joy, falling from snowy clouds Lifting my heart’s hope with a sense of knowing That God is alive, a light – a laugh – a longing Thrilling my senses with kindness and faith Filling my soul with prayers that sing praises To the One who knows me better than I imagine Better than the image I see looking back at me From some reflective caress lighting my heart With grace and peace, sincerity and serenity Feelings, blessings, dreams which bring to me Assurance that tender love is what encourages Moves me to believe, to give, to share my best With all the ones who come to me from life’s quest A song of anticipation drifts from the azure skies Dipping me in motivation – insight into my imagination A muse of creativity colors my soul in delicious days Filled with compassion, gentleness and unending faith A brilliant vision embraces me from the heart of love Clinging to my thoughts with a promise of enthusiasm A whisper, a breath, a sigh of optimism takes me high Above the worry and sorrow that might torment a soul A God who knows my heart and soul and kisses my life With love that knows no bounds, no limits, no doubts A love that brings my spirit peace beyond my dreams Emphasizes the light beyond the shadows of hurt And reminds me why I can always be sure of the One Who knows that real love sings the tune to my world And life without His Son is a life I don’t want to know! Well written Gina, hard to imagine what our lives would be like without his light in our world. Good luck in the contest and hope your week is going well. Tom
