Inspiration Lost and Found.

All that is completed has come to pass
Like a midnight brigand in shadow
Comfort longed interminably where none is found
Endless searches for sweet contentment
Of the approaching dawns pleasing rays
That gladly warms my frigid features
Esteeming the forlorn and empty of heart
A moment of reprieval shouted skyward
The time to begin again penning raw poetry
Spouting from the depths of my spirit
Now free in eternal flight to ignorant ears
It has all come to pass that which is complete
Still all that it is has yet to be born
It is the hope that carries me distant
Under the darkened skies of the tempest
And yet tranquil guiding me forward
Although I recognize it’s time is finite
