Inspiration sometimes comes from the least likely places It can be found in a smile or in a silent prayer Sometimes, you can feel it after a gentle rain shower Other times, it dances through the breeze And can even be seen in the brightest sunflower Inspiration may be discovered within a heart who listens Never interrupting, but always intent on even the whispers Of one who needs to be heard and cared for With a attentive ear who knows how to bring cheer With kindness, affection and the gift of giving love Inspiration might be found on the horizon, in twinkling starlight Penetrating the shadows of night with the moon beam Breaking the morning dawn with a shining sunlight ray Capturing the new day with colorful explosion of flowery escapades Sending out hues of delight across the indigo mountains Inspiration comes alive in the breath of a heart’s insight Sighing reflections of compassion and promise, murmuring Faith and hope into the heart of those who listen with a desire To know the One who brings a teardrop out of the pain Erasing all doubt that there is relief in the weeping thought Inspiration brightens the day with its blushing sensitivity Caressing the spirit with praise for those encouragements That fill lives with hope and hearts with new ways to cope Lighten the load for those who hold onto so much worry And give the broken a intact God to relieve the heartaches Inspiration knows… the gift of giving from the heart With only the hope that comes from knowing It’s only in the giving that we are really living!

If one were a real poet (which I am not), one can write about virtually every thin, even on a grain of sand. ~~
